Accounts Executive
Job description
JOB PURPOSE:
Support and coordinate the internal and external resources to expedite company workflow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle full set of accounts, including Account Receivables (AR), Account Payables (AP), General Ledger (GL) and GST reporting for multiple companies.
- Prepare monthly and annual management reports, financial statements and audit schedules.
- Handle intercompany billings in various currencies.
- Process payment vouchers for scheduled and ad-hoc payments to suppliers.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation, month-end closing and year-end closing.
- Coordinate with intercompany entities, auditors, tax agents, suppliers and service providers.
- Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as assigned.
- Maintain proper internal controls, supporting compliance and ensuring accurate documentation.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- At least a Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent, LCCI or ACCA.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese speaking related companies.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Knowledgeable in handling foreign currency transactions and understanding of currency exchange implications.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
