An established industry player is seeking a dedicated finance professional to manage a full set of accounts, ensuring compliance with regulations and efficiency in processes. This role involves handling various financial responsibilities, including GST returns, tax matters, and liaising with auditors. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Handling full set of accounts including GST returns, tax matters, and audit matters
Ensuring AR, AP, bank reconciliations, journal, and general functions are performed in an effective and efficient manner.
Manage the month-end closing of accounts and ensure that the company's books are in accordance with the group policies and standards.
Ensure all intercompany reconciliation, finance reports, and schedules are up to date.
Assisting in the annual budget and forecasting process
Liaising with external auditors, tax agents, and professional advisors on related matters
Identify opportunity for continuous improvement in department procedures/processes; implements changes as needed to improve the efficiency and productivity of the team.
Provide continual coaching and support to the Finance team.
Assist in other areas of the Finance Team as appropriate and when required to ensure that all operational targets are met.
Continuously improve processes and execute optimization initiatives.
Provide general support to the organization as required.
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.
Will be handling overseas accounts and must be able to travel when required
REQUIREMENT
Minimum Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, or equivalent qualification
Minimum 3 years or more experience in a full set of the accounting function
Good Microsoft Excel skills
Proven ability to produce accurate and timely reports.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Incumbent with more experience will be considered for a Senior role
