About the role
AcuMed Medical Pte Ltd, a leading provider of medical solutions, is seeking an Accounts Executive to join their team in the West Region. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a budding Accountant to experience the day-to-day operations in maintaining the financial health and compliance of our group of companies.
What you'll be doing
Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections.
Resolve any discrepancies or queries related to AR & AP.
Monitor and maintain accurate records of all AR & AP transactions.
Process invoices for payments.
Review and ensure entries in the system are correct.
Update and reconcile accounts with bank statements.
Prepare financial summaries and management accounts for reporting.
Assist in preparation for audit tax filing and reporting and group consolidation.
What we're looking for
Bachelor in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the medical or healthcare industry.
Strong technical accounting skills with a thorough understanding of Singapore’s financial reporting standards.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) applications.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills (e.g. government bodies, auditors, etc.).
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Familiarity with financial accounting and reporting software, such as SAP, Autocount.
Additional Information
Working hours: Mondays to Fridays, 8:45am to 6pm; alternate Saturdays, 8:45am to 1pm (one Saturday per month WFH).
