A leading company in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage full sets of accounts for clients, prepare financial statements, and assist with payroll and tax matters. The ideal candidate will have relevant accounting qualifications and experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. This role offers a challenging environment where you will also mentor junior staff while meeting statutory deadlines.

Responsibilities:
Handle full set of accounts for clients:
Book-keeping
Preparation of Unaudited financial statements
GST matters, including performing GST reconciliation and e-filing of GST
Handle payroll jobs. This includes the preparation of monthly payroll (including CPF submission) and yearly IR8A forms.
Handle Tax jobs. This includes the preparation of ECI, computation of tax, e-filing of Corporate Tax/Personal Income Tax
Liaise professionally with clients on accounting and tax-related matters.
Assist clients to manage and handle their in-house accounting functions.
Render service in office or at client’s office.
Responsible for completion of job within timeframe and helping clients to meet their various statutory (IRAS, ACRA) deadlines.
Meet company monthly targets.
Guide/mentor Accounts Associates/Assistants in achieving team goals and customer fulfilment.
Any other matters assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
At least 3 years’ experience:
Working as an accounts staff across various industries; and
Preparing full sets of accounts.
OR
At least 2 years’ experience:
Working in an accounting firm; and
Preparing full sets of accounts.
Experience in tax computations would be an advantage.
At least 1 year’s experience mentoring junior accounting staff.
Knowledge of QuickBooks software would be an advantage.
Able to work independently.
Strong communication skills — articulate, persuasive, and confident in both written and oral communication.
Good interpersonal skills; persuasive and enterprising.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Self-motivated, goal- and results-oriented, and able to work well under pressure.
