Job summary

A leading orthopaedic surgery firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage accounts payable and receivable functions. You will be responsible for processing payments, following up on outstanding debts, and performing reconciliations. Job description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for processing and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, including processing payments.
• Following up payments closely from customers and maintain ageing.
• Handle supplier SOA and perform necessary reconciliation.
• Processing bank reconciliation and posting entries to the XERO accounting system.
• Prepare month end reports and closing activities.
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST.
• Undertake additional tasks & responsibilities as and when required or instructed by superiors and director.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Min 2-3 years of relevant working experience in the field of Accounting/ Finance with strong accounting knowledge.
• Possesses at least a Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively with both external and internal parties with positive working attitude.
• Preferably Singaporean citizens or Permanent Resident.
