Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in handling accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and process payments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
  • Handle petty cash management and reimbursements.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
  • Assist with audits and tax filings as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Perform other ad hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, SAP) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of GST and basic tax regulations is an advantage.
