Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, handle statutory declarations on a monthly basis, maintain bookkeeping records, and contribute to financial reporting by generating monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions efficiently.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and ensure proper documentation.
- Petty cash management: Oversee petty cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare and submit statutory declarations on a monthly basis in compliance with local regulations.
- Collaborate with the VP and CEO to provide accurate financial reporting and updates.
- Generate monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and assist in analyzing financial performance.
- Ad hoc tasks: Assist with various corporate and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing AP and AR functions.
- Knowledge of statutory requirements and financial reporting practices.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
