An established industry player is seeking an experienced accountant to manage client portfolios and oversee full set accounts. This role involves preparing financial reports, GST submissions, and liaising with auditors. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accountancy and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Job Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of client companies on accounting engagements.
Full set accounts and month end financial reporting
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare / Review month end balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, accounts supporting schedules and internal control reports
Prepare quarterly GST submission and income tax schedule
Assist in preparation of year end finance statement
Liaise with auditor for audit matters & schedules
Attend to internal and external queries and requests (e.g. tax, internal audit, external audit, etc.)
Prepare costing report an analysis
Familiar with Auto Account System
Other ad-hoc assignments
Job Requirements:
Minimum Degree in Accountancy
Minimum 5 years of experience in handling full sets of accounts independently
Previous audit experience is an added advantage
Proficient in MS Excel
Organized, meticulous and analytical
Independent, multi-tasking and ability to work under pressure
