Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled & detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage & oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting & compliance requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles & the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements & reports to ensure accuracy & compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage general ledger entries, account reconciliations & month-end/year-end closing processes.
  • Oversee accounts payable & receivable, ensuring timely & accurate processing.
  • Monitor cash flow & assist in budgeting & forecasting activities.
  • Support external audits & liaise with auditors & tax consultants.
  • Maintain compliance with financial regulations & company policies.
  • Assist in developing internal controls & improving accounting systems & processes.
  • Mentor & support junior accounting staff.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather & analyse financial data.
  • Handle payroll, tax filings & statutory returns as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills & familiarity with financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational & communication skills.
  • High attention to detail & accuracy.
  • Ability to manage deadlines & work independently.
