Record supplier invoices in the accounting system in accordance with GST regulations and company policies.
Coordinate and manage payments to suppliers in a timely manner.
Issue and record supplier debit and credit notes.
Perform monthly reconciliation of suppliers’ statements of accounts (SOA) and follow up on discrepancies with the Customer Service team and/or suppliers.
Prepare journal vouchers (JV) for month-end closing activities.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and other reconciling tasks as needed.
Maintain and update the fixed asset register in line with corporate finance policy.
Prepare financial data for monthly management presentation.
Process staff claims.
Year-End Audit and Tax Support
Update profit and loss (P&L) expense breakdowns for audit purposes.
Prepare and follow up on accounts payable and related party confirmations.
Liaise with auditors and provide required documentation and reports.
Verify P&L expense breakdowns for tax submission purposes.
Other Responsibilities
Create and maintain new stock codes in the system.
Prepare supporting schedules for quarterly GST report submission.
Prepare monthly sales commission reports.
Assist in reviewing and signing sales invoices.
Provide monthly obsolete inventory reports and follow up the status with Customer Service team.
Support ad-hoc tasks and assignments from the superior.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant working experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Good understanding of GST compliance and general accounting principles.
Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
