Responsibilities
- Handle full set accounts: TB, PNL, BS, AP, AR, and various reports
- Perform timely closing of monthly accounts and annual financial statements
- Verify documentation and prepare cheques & bank transfer payments to vendors
- Monitor the ageing of receivables and follow up on collections with customers
- Monitor inventory movements, write-offs, and attend yearly stock take activities
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations
- Reconcile and submit quarterly GST returns
- Year-end closing and audit of accounts
- Maintain fixed assets ledger and other audit schedules
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, and the corporate secretary
- Ensure accounting reports comply with regulations, standards, and practices
- Handle petty cash claims
- Assist HR with staff payroll, payslips, and claims
- Prepare year-end AIS submission
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting / ACCA or higher
- Fluent in Chinese is a must
- Minimum 3 years relevant accounting experience
- Knowledge of GST and local tax regulations
- Hands-on experience with Netiquette (if applicable) is advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Initiative-taking and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Meticulous with strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and well-organized
