Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor cash flow file and maintain cash controls

  2. Prepare and reconcile bank statements

  3. Prepare monthly P&L and balance sheets

  4. Prepare monthly AP payment

  5. Prepare monthly payments for non-trade expenses

  6. Ensure transactions are processed and properly recorded

  7. Maintain proper accounting record and filing

  8. Filing of all financial files, records and relevant documents

  9. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.

  10. Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

  11. Monitor and analyse financial data to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.

  12. Assist in filing tax reporting and compliance, including GST and withholding tax.

  13. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations

  14. Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and efficiency

  15. Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices

  16. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

  17. Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts receivable and invoicing

  18. Prepare clients' statements of accounts and manage inter-company invoicing

  19. Administer and update clients’ receipts in CRM/accounting systems

  20. Monitor client payments and take follow-up action on outstanding balances/payments

Requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualifications.

  2. Full Sets Accounting experience is required

  3. Active team player & willingness to learn

  4. Proficient in Chinese and English (To liaise with Chinese speaking clients)

  5. Able to work independently with minimum supervision, able to work under pressure within tight schedules

  6. Resourceful, Strong team player with good interpersonal and social skills

  7. Meticulous and handle data entries accurately and efficiently

  8. Experienced in using XERO

  9. Proficient in MS Excel
