A leading company in the tyre industry is seeking an experienced accountant to manage AP/AR accounting processes, prepare reconciliations, and assist in month-end closings. The ideal candidate must have a relevant degree and at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience, with strong numerical accuracy and communication skills.
Job Description:
Handling AP / AR accounting related matters.
Verify & Post transaction of invoice into accounting system.
Prepare monthly AP Ageing listing & prepare monthly supplier payment via online banking, cheque or others.
Prepare reconciliation with supplier’s statement of account.
Prepare daily ad-hoc payments.
Update the incoming fund into accounting system and reports.
Follow up payment advices and collection from customers/salesman.
Verify & Post daily collection report from all retails store.
Issues debit/credit note for AR related matters.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
Assists in month-end / year-end closing process.
Assist to undertake ad-hoc assignment as when required.
Requirement:
Relevant degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in a similar accounts or bookkeeping role
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers
Proficient in using accounting software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Adaptable to change and willing to learn new skills
