Job description

Responsibilities

  • Handle all Accounts Payables & Accounts Receivables
  • Prepare Payment for Suppliers
  • L/C Negotiation
  • Data compilation, billing, other accounting tasks

- Reconciliation of Inter- Company Invoices and update into Hyperion

  • Monthly Bank Reconciliation
  • Month end AP and AR Aging reconciliation
  • Prepare Month End GST Reports
  • Prepare schedules for tax filing
  • Check & Compile Month End Goods Received
  • Calculate & issue Credit Note to Customers for Sales Discount
  • Prepare Staff Monthly Claims and overtime
  • Month end closing processes and updating schedules
  • Proper filing and documentation
  • Assists with the preparation of trial balance and financial statements.
  • Monthly and yearly finalisation of accounts for audit purposes.
  • Support Accountant in liaising with external auditors' requests and enquiries.
  • Participate in ad-hoc finance-related projects and systems testing when necessary.
  • Assist in verification of data for new ERP implementation

Job Requirements

  • Work closely with other department to develop idea and feedback.
  • Analytical and logical thinking to solve the problem
  • Self-motivated, excellent interpersonal and communications skills

Skills and Competencies

  • 3 – 5 years relevant experience with financial analysis exposure.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and various accounting software.
  • Diploma Accountancy or equivalent / relevant professional qualifications
  • Knowledge of SAP / ERP has an added advantage.
  • Able to work under tight timeframes and able to multi-task.
  • Able to communicate effectively across different levels in the organization.
