An established industry player is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage essential financial functions. In this role, you'll ensure timely month-end closings, handle daily accounting tasks, and prepare various financial reports. Responsibilities
Ensure timely month-end closing of accounts
Handle daily accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger
Process Letters of Credit and Trust Receipts for submission to the bank
Prepare GST quarterly returns, XBRL filings, annual government statistical reports, and income tax computations
Conduct stock take and coordinate closely with warehouse personnel
Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documents for the annual Group audit
Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time
Requirements
Minimum GCE A-Level or Diploma in Finance/Accounting; a Degree in Accountancy or ACCA/CPA qualification is preferred
At least 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
Proficient in both English and Chinese (written and spoken)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Navision preferred (training will be provided)
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Willing to work in the Tuas area
