Job summary

A leading finance company in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage Accounts Payable and Receivable functions. You will be responsible for GST preparation, bank reconciliations, and maintaining the Fixed Assets Register. The ideal candidate has a degree, at least 7 years of relevant experience, and strong skills in MS Excel and Word Perfect. Job description

Responsibilities

*Handle full set of Accounts Payable Function. To Process suppliers invoices, ensure accuracy and proper coding, petty cash control, handle suppliers enquiries and any payment related issues

*Prepare schedule for daily and monthly suppliers payments by Giro

*Assist in month-end closing activities includes AP/AR reconciliations

*Handle full set of Accounts Receivable Function. To issue sales invoices, credit notes, inter-billing, monitor receivables & follow up on outstanding payments

*GST preparation and submissions

*Prepare accrual, prepayments and record journal entries

*Post weekly bank transactions and perform monthly bank reconciliations

*Prepare Fixed Assets Register & perform depreciation schedule

*Inventory Control and reconcile stock records

*Prepare audit schedule & documents as required by auditor

*Perform any other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager

Requirements

*Candidate must possess at least Degree Holder or equivalent qualification

*Required skill(s): Word Perfect, MS Excel, MS Office.

*Knowledge of MYOB Accounting Software will be an advantage.

*Minimum 7 years of working experience

*Fast learner, meticulous, independent, organized and good initiative.
