A Singapore-based technology company is looking for a finance professional to prepare full sets of accounts and manage financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in finance, strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Office. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare full set of monthly and annual accounts, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, Bank Reconciliations, and Audit Schedules.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly management reports and statutory financial statements.
• Record and report the company’s financial performance, including monitoring and analysis of cash flow.
• Monitor accounts receivable closely and follow up on overdue payments to ensure timely collection.
• Manage accounts payable to maintain optimal cash flow and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
• Handle GST submissions, corporate tax filings, and comply with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with auditor, tax agent, company secretary and bankers on company financial and administrative matters.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and implementation of strong internal controls.
• Stay informed of changes in financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
Requirements:
