A leading company in the funeral services sector is seeking an experienced Accountant. The role includes managing a full set of accounts, preparing financial documents, and monitoring financial records. Ideal candidates will have strong negotiation skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a Diploma in Accountancy.
Requirements:
· Min 2 – 5 years working experience
· Diploma in Accountancy
· Experienced working with MYOB/ABSS
· Able to handle full set of accounts GL, AP, AR, Inter Company transactions
· Good verbal, written and negotiation skills in order to manage the accounts efficiently
· Preparing monthly bank reconciliation
· Issuing of Invoices, receipts, credit notes, payment vouchers, cheques
· Monitoring debtors’ aging reports, prepare monthly statement of accounts and go to customers’ premises for payment collection, when necessary
· Meticulous, able to work independently, have initiative, able to meet the tight reporting deadline and handle stress full situation
· To prepare schedule/documents for year-end audit
· To keep up to date fixed assets register
· To conduct stock take and to monitor inventories.
