About the role
The Chinatown Business Association is seeking an experienced Accounts cum Admin Manager to join our dynamic team in the Chinatown Central Region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the organisation's financial accounting and reporting processes, as well as providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our operations.
What you'll be doing
Manage the full sets accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
Maintain financial schedule and answer auditor queries
In charge of HR matters, e.g. recruitment, payroll, employee income tax
Provide administrative assistance to the management team
Assist in Funds claim submission
Assist in any other ad hoc duty assigned by Director
What we're looking for
Minimum Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounts and administrative role.
Strong working knowledge of financial accounting principles, procedures, and software (e.g., QuickBooks)
Proficient in administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and document management
Self-driven, highly energetic and committed individual who can work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Proficient in MS office
Ability to multi task
Able to speak Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Able to work on weekend and public holiday
Immediate available or with short notice period is preferred
