A leading company is seeking an Account cum Admin Executive to manage accounting and administrative tasks to support operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial records, accounts payable and receivable, data entry, and general office administration. Ideal applicants should possess a relevant diploma or degree and have 1-2 years of experience in accounting, demonstrating attention to detail and good interpersonal skills. This position offers a dynamic work environment and requires the ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • Familiar with accounting software and ERP portals is advantageous.

Job description

The Account cum Admin Executive role will be responsible for managing both accounting and administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the organization. Key duties include maintaining financial records, handling accounts payable and receivable, performing data entry, and assisting with general office administration. This role requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently & as a team player.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurate account data entry and reviewing on a timely basis
  • Perform full set of accounts such as AR, AP, receipts, payments, invoicing and general ledger
  • Perform AR functions: invoice and SOA preparation, submission of invoice via clients ERP portals, debtors follow-up
  • Perform AP functions: planning of supplier payment, disbursement preparation, liaise with supplier for monthly reconciliation
  • Monthly payroll preparation and submission for review
  • Perform month-end/ year-end closing activities, bank reconciliation, accounts schedules, management report and etc, submission for review
  • Quarterly GST reports preparation and submission for review
  • Maintain good documentation and filing system
  • General administrative work and any other accounting duties when tasked

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Accountancy / CAT / LCCI or equivalent education
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years relevant working experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Multi-task, meticulous, attention to detail and well organized
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast pace working environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Familiar with accounting software, ERP supply chain, procurement service portals and systems advantageous
