A leading company in Singapore is seeking an Accountant to manage their full set of accounts and oversee financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Finance/Accountancy, along with at least 3 years of experience in the construction industry. Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full set of company accounts.
  • Timely financial reporting.
  • Responsible for preparing bank reconciliation, expense reconciliation, monthly breadkdown of balance sheet items and other management reports required by management.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles to ensure compliance to accounting standards and company policies.
  • Oversee cash flow management.
  • Monitor and oversee daily accounting transactions and activities.
  • Reviewing staff claims and routing for approvals.
  • Liaising with auditors and tax agents and preparing audit documents for year-end closing.
  • Responsible for procurement processes (e.g. RFQ, PO, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive information on all purchases made and ensure that all purchasing records are updated and filed accordingly.
  • Assist in maintaining the documentation and providing administrative assistance.
  • Handling any other ad hoc assignments.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Finance/Accountancy or other professional relevant discipline
  • At least 3 years of accounting experience in Construction
  • Good organizational capabilities, meticulous and process strong analytical skills
  • Problem-solving skills
