Overview

The Accounts Specialist will be responsible for managing the financial transactions and records of the company. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining financial records, and performing various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records and book-keeping including ledgers, journals, and bank statements. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports. Booking of vendor invoices including shipping and transportation.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Taxation: Having basic knowledge of TDS and GST to ensure compliance with tax Authorities.
  • General Administrative Support: Provide support to the finance team members as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably as an Accounts Executive or similar position.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Additional Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software i.e., SAP and MS Office Suite (especially Excel). Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
