Accounts Associates (Senior)

About the role

We're seeking an energetic and out-going experienced Accounts Associate (Senior) to join the team at Amabel & Associates' in our vibrant downtown office. In this full-time role, you'll play a key part in providing expert accounting and bookkeeping support to our diverse client base. With a focus on small to medium-sized businesses, you'll utilise your exceptional technical skills and attention to detail to ensure our clients' financial records are meticulously maintained.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations and payroll

• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, reports and tax returns

• Preparing monthly payroll and CPF submission

• Maintaining company-clients work relationship

• Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless service delivery

• Staying up-to-date with Accounting Standards, GST and Tax regulation

What we're looking for

• 5+ years' experience in a similar senior accounting role, ideally within a public practice environment

• Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of FRS and tax compliance

• Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with clients

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

• A Diploma or a Degree in Accounting
