A leading company in logistics solutions is looking for an Accounts Assistant to handle accounting data entry, accounts management, and general administration. The position requires a diploma in accounting and at least two years of relevant experience. Join a dynamic team at the Changi Airfreight Centre and contribute to effective operations and client communication.
Position : Accounts Assistant - (Simple Accounting/ Data Entry/ AR/AP/GL)
Location : Changi Airfreight Centre
Working hours : 5 days a week - Monday-Thursday (8am-6pm) / Friday (9am-6pm)
Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $3200 + Performance Bonus

Responsibilities
Accounting Data entry
Responsible for Accounts Receivable, Account Payable & General Ledger
To liaise with supplier / forwarder for imports, shipments losses / survey & cost verification
Assist in preparation and closing of management accounts reporting.
Responsible for quarterly reports & GST submission
Co-ordination and support of year end audits, tax filing and company secretarial matter.
Communication to clients, brokers, insurers, auditors, and tax agents
General office administration duties
Process staff reimbursement and claim forms.
Oversee the contracts and documentations of the operations.
Liaise with customers, shipping agents & terminal operators.
Provide regular update to HQ.
Computer skill and knowledge of relevant software
Requirements
Minimum Diploma or LCCI in Accounting
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Familiar with vessel operations is an advantage
Can liaise with ship owner account opening
