About the role
As an Accounts Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day finance operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This role requires a hands-on and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles, compliance standards, and financial reporting. You’ll support leadership in driving financial performance while maintaining internal controls and statutory compliance.
What you will be doing:
Manage the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities and prepare accurate financial reports
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations
Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory bodies
Maintain strong internal controls and uphold compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
Monitor and manage cash flow to support operational needs and financial stability
We’re looking for someone who’s:
At least Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with prior supervisory exposure preferred
Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and local tax regulations
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of meeting tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
