Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant/ Finance Assistant to join our finance team on a yearly contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day financial tasks, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile invoices and expense reports
- Assist with month-end financial close processes
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assist with audit preparation and support
- Provide support to the finance team as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma in accounting, finance, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
This is a contract position with the possibility of yearly renewal based on performance and business needs.
