Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking an Accounts and HR professional to manage daily accounting functions, ensure compliance, and prepare financial reports. Candidates should have at least five years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently. Knowledge of accounting standards and HR regulations is essential.

Qualifications

  • 5 years’ minimum experience in accounting.
  • Good knowledge of Employment Act & HR practices.

Job description

Accounts & HR duties:

  • Handle daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and expense tracking for several entities.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist in month-end and year-end closings.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Ensure timely filing of tax (corporate/GST) and statutory compliance reports.
  • All banking functions including monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Attend to enquiries on financial matters like surveys.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial analysis.
  • Prepare staff salary, CPF submission, apply grants.
  • Projects management &/or cost accounting is an advantage.
  • Payroll and claims expenses and other related matters like IR8A, IR21.
  • Apply and handle permit or pass application, grants and administrative general duties.

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant working experience and ability to work independently.
  • Good knowledge with 5 years’ minimum accounting standards and Employment Act & HR practices and regulations.
  • Meticulous, willing to learn & step-up and logical thinking.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word and Office.
  • Ability to use Xero accounting and InfoTech HRMS software.
