Job summary

A leading company in drilling seeks a detail-oriented Account Assistant to support finance and administrative functions. Qualifications

  • Minimum diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
  • Familiar with MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel.

Job description

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Account Assistant to support our finance and administrative tasks.


Job Responsibilities:

- Ensure supplier invoices are accurately and timely recorded in system

  • Verify and process supplier invoices and payments
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Manage daily accounts receivable and payable task
  • Update the receipt entries in system on daily basis
  • Prepare and post journal entries as required.
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Generate SOA and follow up to the clients the outstanding AR and billing issues.
  • Assist in general administrative duties

Requirements:

- Minimum diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Non-experience can apply if keen and willing to learn
  • Familiar with MS Office application, Word, Excel
  • Meticulous and able to handle data entries accurately and efficiently
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good team player and willing to learn
  • Candidates who are able to start immediately or within short notice will be advantageous.
  • Able to work in Changi Airfreight Centre
  • 5 days working week
