Job summary

Borr Drilling, a well-established SME in Singapore, is seeking an Account Assistant to perform a variety of accounting tasks, including AP/AR processing and GST reporting. The role requires a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in accounting and familiarity with cloud accounting systems, offering a dynamic work environment and attractive benefits. Job description

We are an ISO9001:2015 , 45001:2018 certified company renowned for its Tank Gauging System, Energy BTU meter, Flow, level, pressure, temperature measurement & Control as well as industrial analytical instrument serving a very wide range of industries include Petrochemical, Power & Energy, Industrial Process Plants , Utilities , Water & Waste Water reclamation, Oil storage terminals and Offshore Marine Oil & Gas sectors. Job Description / Scope & Function:

1. Perform general accounting related administrative work reporting to company accountant

2. Process AP/AR transactions, issue SOA and follow up on payment

3. Handle and Process staff expenses claims

4. generate Tax Invoice from GRN, preparing monthly currency report.

5. Assist in quarterly GST reporting/filing

6. Assist in HR duties (monitoring annual leave, updated employee information, process work permit application with MOM and medical insurance)

7. Keeping and monitoring of Fixed Assets record.

Skill-sets / work experience :

1. At least 2-3 years of working experience as an account assistant or accounting function using Cloud base accounting / ERP system.

2. Able to multi-task and work alongside with our Sales Administrator in using our cloud based ERP Business & Accounting Software ( A2000 )

3. Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

4. Proficient /competent in Microsoft Excel

5. Quick learner and meticulous at work in a fast pace working environment

Educational Qualifications Required:

  • GCE “O” / “N” / higher NITEC / Diploma in accounting or equivalent

Working hour : Monday to Friday 08:30- 18:00 or 09:00 – 18:30 on five day week

Salary & Remuneration : Commensurate with Skillsets/competencies, relevant work experience and qualifications ( higher position may be offered to those who are well qualified )
