An established industry player is seeking a detail-oriented finance assistant to support their finance team. This role involves assisting with accounts receivable and payable duties, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma in a relevant field and have basic bookkeeping knowledge. Responsibilities
• Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties
• Perform duties in compliance with statutory and internal financial transaction recording standards for general ledger, cash payments / collections, tax transactions etc.
• Control / reconciliation of accounts and records
• Support the finance team in preparation of monthly and annual accounting reports / schedules for management and compliance reporting
• Any other administrative duties to support the finance team
Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least NITEC/Diploma in a relevant discipline
• Basic bookkeeping knowledge on Singapore Accounting Standards and GST Regulations
• Active team player with willingness to learn
• Meticulous and detail-oriented
• Able to work under pressure within tight schedules
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook)
• Hand on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP system will be advantageous
