About the role
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at STAR FURNITURE PTE LTD'. In this full-time position based in the Sungei Kadut North Region, you will play a key role in maintaining our financial records and supporting the overall accounting operations of the company.
Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts
Perform daily reconciliation of sales and collections
Update Sales Order
Posting of Receipts
Daily Bank in Report
Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed
Requirements
Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualification
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role
Meticulous and positive working attitudes
Proficient in using accounting software (eg. SAP) and MS Office applications
Bilingual in English and Mandarin in order to communicate with English and Mandarin speaking counterparts
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Able to start work immediately or with short notice period
5 days’ week
(Mon – Thurs, 8.45am – 6.15pm & Fri, 8.45am – 5.45pm)
Company transport picks up at Yew Tee MRT Station
