About the role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at STAR FURNITURE PTE LTD'. In this full-time position based in the Sungei Kadut North Region, you will play a key role in maintaining our financial records and supporting the overall accounting operations of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner

  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts

  • Perform daily reconciliation of sales and collections

  • Update Sales Order

  • Posting of Receipts

  • Daily Bank in Report

  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed

Requirements

  • Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualification

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role

  • Meticulous and positive working attitudes

  • Proficient in using accounting software (eg. SAP) and MS Office applications

  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin in order to communicate with English and Mandarin speaking counterparts

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Able to start work immediately or with short notice period

5 days’ week

(Mon – Thurs, 8.45am – 6.15pm & Fri, 8.45am – 5.45pm)
