A leading construction company in Singapore is looking for an accounting professional to assist with daily bookkeeping, prepare invoices, and reconcile accounts. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and possess 1-3 years of relevant experience. Organizational skills and proficiency in Excel are essential. This role requires high attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily bookkeeping, including data entry and invoice processing.
  • Prepare and process customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Handling communications with suppliers via phone, email, and in-person and resolving queries.
  • Record supplier invoices and prepare payment runs.
  • Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and customer accounts.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Respond to internal and external queries regarding accounts.
  • Any other duties on time to time basis.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
