A financial services firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate for managing the accounts payable (AP) and receivable (AR) functions. You will ensure timely processing of invoices, monitor overdue accounts, and assist with month-end closing. Ideal candidates should have a Higher Nitec or Diploma in Accounting, basic accounting knowledge, and effective communication skills. Only Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents (PRs) will be considered.
Job Responsibilities:
· Manage day-to-day accounts payable (AP) or accounts receivable (AR) function
· Ensure timely and accurate billing and/or processing of invoices for payment
· Monitor AR ageing and follow up with customers on overdue accounts
· Ensure timely reconciliation of financial transactions (AR/AP) and identify and resolve discrepancies.
· Liaise with internal stakeholders, auditor, vendors and/or customers where necessary
· Assist with month-end closing and reporting for AR/AP
· Handle Ad hoc tasks as required
Requirements:
· Higher Nitec or Diploma in Accounting or related field
· 1–3 years of working experience in accounts payable and receivable; fresh graduates with strong internship experience may also be considered
· Basic accounting or finance knowledge
· Effective communication and teamwork skills
· Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently
· Good learning attitude
