Daily Accounting Operations:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using the Netiquette Accounting Management System
- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions
- Enter daily receipts from customers and suppliers' invoices
- Prepare and process urgent payments on daily/weekly basis
- Handle petty cash transactions and maintain petty cash journal
Financial Recording and Reporting:
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and prepare monthly reconciliation reports
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Assist in preparation of monthly trial balance, income statement, and balance sheet
- Prepare financial reports and assist with year-end closing procedures
Tax and Compliance:
- Assist in GST filing and maintain proper filing of accounting records
- Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements using IRAS-approved Netiquette System
- Support preparation of government surveys and statistics reporting
Administrative Support:
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain organized filing systems for all financial documentation
- Assist with audit preparation and provide support to auditors
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Singapore's regulatory compliance requirements
- Knowledge of construction industry accounting practices
- Familiarity with tank engineering or heavy industrial sector operations
- Basic understanding of project accounting and cost management
