An established industry player is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support its Finance Department. This role involves managing Accounts Payable functions, ensuring accurate processing of financial transactions, and collaborating with various departments. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant (Accounts Payable) to support our Finance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling AP functions and ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Payable (or Accounts Receivable, as assigned).
Perform regular account and statement reconciliations.
Input financial data accurately using Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Prepare and issue cheques
Assist with the collection and recording of receipts.
Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash flow records.
Collaborate with various departments to meet reporting deadlines.
Requirements:
Minimum qualification: CAT / LCCI (partial) or equivalent accounting certification.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills, with the ability to interact across all levels.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Willing to perform overtime when required.
Preferable speak Chinese and to handle customer /end user
