This opportunity is with our Autonomy & Positioning division for our Hexagon-Veripos business line, which provides the high precision navigation and positioning products and services necessary to operate safely and efficiently for our offshore marine O&G sectors.

Responsibilities

The Position

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our global finance team based across Singapore and the UK. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager in Aberdeen, Scotland, your role will be to assist the company and local region with its Accounts Receivable process to ensure the accurate reporting of monthly revenue as well as other financial duties.

Your ability to build relations across your stakeholder group will see you guide and partner to reach regional objectives whilst maintaining corporate governance and integrity in your function.

As our Accounts Assistant, you would be responsible for:

  • Raising sales invoices to send to customers
  • Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Attending monthly revenue recognition meetings
  • Communicating with account managers on a daily basis
  • Performing due diligence checks on new suppliers

Qualifications

What we are seeking;

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant who is ready for the next step in their career in a position that will evolve and offer endless career development.

In addition, we are seeking those with the following skills or attributes:

  • Prior experience as an Accounts Assistant, ideally in a similar business including service and consulting, manufacturing, or technology/equipment provider.
  • Experience and knowledge of Singapore GST and its application within the import/export business.
  • High attention to detail, with strong Microsoft application skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as autonomously across global teams, with strong communication skills.
  • Prior experience in business partnering, aligning and maintaining business objectives to company procedures/policies.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, balancing tight deadlines whilst being adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Prior Syteline ERP experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Permanent Resident or Citizen of Singapore.
