Accounts Assistant

Join our dynamic web3 finance team as an Accounts Assistant and play a key role supporting our financial operations. You'll gain valuable experience in traditional accounting while diving into the exciting world of WEB3 and blockchain technology.

Main Responsibilities

1. Assisting senior staff with core accounting tasks like audit schedules, budget, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
2. Performing reconciliation for expenses, revaluation, inter-co transactions, and other related financial activities.
3. Performing administrative tasks, such as data entry and preparing invoices.
4. Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
5. Contributing to the month-end close process and maintaining strong internal controls.
6. Supporting audit, tax, financial planning and analysis, helping develop financial models and track variances to keep us on track.
7. Ensuring timely and accurate quarterly and yearly tax submissions for GST and Corporate tax.

Requirements

1. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail for accurate financial recordkeeping.
2. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero) and a willingness to learn new accounting-specific tools.
3. A keen interest in the web3 space and a desire to learn about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
4. Proactive and adaptable, with a can-do attitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
5. Diploma / Degree in Accountancy.
6. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel.
7. Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
8. Prior experience in finance/accounting is advantageous.
