The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, possess at least 2 years of accounting experience, and have a strong understanding of local standards and tax regulations. Job description

Job Scope (Responsibilities):

  • Process AR receipt by matching customer payment with sales invoices
  • Follow up customer overdue invoices & discrepancy.
  • Download bank statement daily (OCBC) for bank reconciliation
  • Assist in account payable function.
  • Check and verify staff claim
  • Prepare monthly statement of account
  • Prepare weekly AR aging report.
  • Handling of in/ out petty cash
  • Deposit of cheques to the bank
  • Filing documents
  • Any other Ad hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting.
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting
  • Good understanding of local accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Proficient with MS office application and use of accounting software
  • Good sense of responsibility and attentive to details
  • Work under stress and tight deadlines
