Job description

Core Responsibilities

Accounts:

  1. Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.
  2. Process and record invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
  3. Reconcile bank statements and other accounts.
  4. Prepare cash flow forecasts, budgets, and monitor expenditure to ensure financial stability.
  5. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
  6. Prepare and submit GST and tax preparation and compliance.
  7. Government license application and renewal (e.g. ISO certification).
  8. Provide support to the team as needed.
  9. Any other ad-hoc duties as required.

HR:

  1. Responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions - recruitment, payroll, leave management, work pass matters, upkeep of employee records, and staff welfare.
  2. Recruitment of new staff including posting job advertisements, scheduling job interviews, assisting in the interview process, handling the onboarding of new staff, and exit clearance.
  3. Handle all administrative matters related to MOM, CPF, and IRAS such as work pass applications and renewals, processing NS claims, childcare leave, or parental leave claims.
  4. Manage company worker’s accommodation including dormitory rental contracts, check-in & check-out, and all related matters.
  5. Review and administer the Employee Handbook, HR policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance.
  6. Liaise with the insurance company regarding staff movement.
  7. Ensure compliance with the company’s accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements

  1. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  2. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  3. Excellent attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, good organizational and time management skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Relevant degree or certification in accounting with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (both accounts and HR).
  6. Strong communication skills and a good working attitude.
  7. Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  8. Responsible and meticulous.
