A leading client is seeking an Accounts cum Admin Executive to handle financial management, reporting, and order processing. The ideal candidate will have experience in freight forwarding, accountability for full set accounts, and familiarity with related software. This role is perfect for someone detail-oriented, motivated, and capable of working under pressure within a well-established company.
Our client is a well-established company with over 70 years of experience in supplying to the Hospitality & Institutional markets worldwide. Their long-standing presence in the industry offers a stable and growth-oriented environment for professionals.
Financial Management: Handle full set of accounts, including preparation of accounting journal entries, quarterly GST filing, and intercompany transactions.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly fixed assets, audit schedules, and account reconciliations. Generate and review month-end financial and management reports.
Forecasting: Analyze variances between actual and projected figures, and prepare financial projections to support business decision-making.
Order Processing: Manage sales orders, coordinate with forwarders and suppliers to ensure timely shipments and deliveries.
Documentation: Prepare shipping documents, generate delivery orders and invoices, and monitor shipments for on-time delivery.
Performance Analysis: Conduct gross profit analysis to support business growth strategies.
Office Administration: Handle general office administration matters and assist with other ad-hoc projects as required.
Educational Background: Candidates with LCCI or Diploma in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent qualification are encouraged to apply.
Experience: Ideally, 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
Accounting Skills: Ability to close full set accounts independently is highly valued.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in freight forwarding & ocean freight is advantageous, along with sound knowledge of INCOTERMS and logistics processes.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SAP B1 & Salesforce, and proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word & Excel) is desired.
Personal Attributes: We're looking for independent, highly motivated team players who can meet deadlines and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Attention to Detail: Well-organized, meticulous, and detail-oriented individuals who can manage time effectively will thrive in this role.
Flexibility: Availability on short notice is preferred to meet the dynamic needs of the business.
