Job summary

A leading rental company in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage full accounting and administrative duties. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of experience. Key responsibilities include preparing financial reports, processing payments, and supervising administrative tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Working hours are from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday, with transport provided from MRT stations.

Job Function

To performs full set of Accounting and Administrative duties for an accurate reports and timely monthly closing.

Essential Functions
  • Prepare, consolidate, matching and checking of monthly Invoices. Follow up on the Purchase Order and work closely with the Salesperson-in-charge.
  • Receive and processing payments, updating information to the system and resolve any discrepancies regarding payments. To clear any issues/discrepancies related to payment received prior to processing the payment and system update.
  • Enform that payments is being followed-up closely by call, fax, and/or email to ensure smooth flow of incoming funds. Prepare necessary data/documents and lead the weekly collection meeting with Sales team as well as enforcing strict collection schedule and follow up delay collection.
  • Prepare financial reports, budget planning, tax forms and other financial databases and spreadsheets (if any). Work closely with all party involved in order to meet the deadline.
  • Perform various administration duties, such as but not limited to general premises maintenance and upkeep, insurance control and maintenance, liaise with government sector for all business related matters, office supplies control and maintenance, etc.
  • Supervise all administrative or clerical duties performed by the assistant.
  • Perform monthly Accounts closing and ensure that all documentations are complete and being filed properly prior to closing. Ensure all missing documents (if any) are accountable for and lead the assistant in resolving the issue in timely manner to ensure smooth monthly closing of Accounts.
  • Enforce the proper procedure for general paperwork, data entry, scan documents, receive and sort mail, and any other tasks that were carried out by assistant as per instructed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degrees from accounting major with minimum 3 years experiences in similar job scope or those who has experience working in similar industries is desirable.
  • Meticulous person who are reliable and highly-organized.
  • An individual with excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing and equally well in working independently or in teams.
