Job summary

A professional services firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to manage full sets of accounts for investment holding and subsidiary companies. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience, a diploma or degree in Accounting, and strong skills in Excel and accounting software. Overview

Location: Orchard (Near Orchard MRT)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (1 day WFH per week after probation)

Salary Range: S$3,000 – S$3,300

Responsibilities
  • Manage full sets of accounts for investment holding and subsidiary companies using Excel and accounting software (including foreign currencies)
  • Prepare payment vouchers, online transfers, and cheques
  • Monitor AR/AP accounts and maintain accounting schedules
  • Generate financial statements, reports, and filings according to deadlines
  • Handle GST reporting and submission
  • Support annual audits and resolve transactional queries
  • Assist with XBRL filing and liaise with company secretary on corporate secretarial matters
  • Coordinate board resolutions and liaise with overseas directors’ secretaries
  • Assist with income tax filings and year-end audit processes
  • Manage general office administration
  • Communicate with local and overseas stakeholders to ensure task completion
Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Able to work independently, multitask, and manage deadlines
  • Organized, meticulous, and proactive in resolving issues
