Job summary

A local engineering company in Singapore seeks a motivated Accounting Assistant to assist with various accounting functions and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include supporting Accounts Payable and Receivable, compiling data, and maintaining records. A Nitec/Higher Nitec in Business or Accounting is required, but no experience is necessary as training will be provided. This is a full-time position with a 5-day work week and transport provided from Jurong East.

Responsibilities


Accounts:

  • Assist in various accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records
  • Handle petty cash transactions and documentation

Admin:

  • Compile and update environmental and operational data
  • Input and maintain project schedules and resource allocations
  • Support data entry and record keeping for projects and related documents

Other Duties:

Perform any other ad-hoc administrative or accounting duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Nitec/Higher Nitec in Business, Accounting or related field
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • No experience required – training will be provided
  • Experience in AutoCount accounting software is an advantage
  • Able to start work immediately or on short notice

Other Information

  • 5 day work week, Monday to Friday, (8.00am - 5.30pm)
  • Transport provided to and from Jurong East
