Job description

The Accounting Team Leader will be responsible for group consolidation, financial reporting and overseeing the financial procedures. The successful candidate will have sound knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Description
  1. Responsible in preparation of consolidation reports accordance to SFRS and IFRS requirements
  2. Handling the management and statutory reports required by external stakeholders/regulations
  3. Perform monthly reviews of the group's financial performance and report findings to management.
  4. Coordinate with internal teams, external auditors, and advisors on group financial reporting activities.
  5. Maintain awareness of relevant accounting standards and listing requirements.
  6. Prepare and liaise with the corporate secretary for electronic financial reporting submissions.
  7. Maintain the group's consolidation software.
  8. Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Profile

A successful 'Accounting Team Leader' should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, CA/CPA qualified or a related field,
  • Individual with an external audit background and experience in group consolidation reviews, including coordination with multiple component auditors are welcome
  • Proficiency in Accounting systems and Consolidation system will be beneficial
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A high level of integrity and dependability
  • Knowledge of international financial reporting standards
