About us:
We are looking for a talented individual with a strong work ethic to be part of our team as the Accounting Supervisor responsible for managing, leading/mentoring subordinates and ensuring daily operations and projects are completed on schedule. This role is based in Jurong East, Singapore.
About you:
Our ideal candidate demonstrates the following traits and skills:-
Appropriate degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education with professional experience and specialised training in specific aspects of job functions i.e. active CPA or CA certification or Accounting Undergraduate Degree.
You will also have:
- Significant experience working in complex shared services in finance and accounting environment; and experience working within a large multinational corporate environment.
- Experience in managing, leading and mentoring teams.
- Experience developing and improving systems and procedures using significant initiative and working knowledge of various accounting systems i.e. SAP, PeopleSoft, Khalix, Hyperion, etc.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and other relevant software packages and applications, with experience using integrated financial systems and tools.
- Strong business acumen, ability to adapt and maintain a flexible approach to changing needs or priorities and ability to manage and prioritize numerous activities in a complex environment.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) including ability to prepare and present concise oral and written reports and documentations.

Your responsibilities will include:Reporting to our Financial Management Associate Manager, our
Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of the assigned accounting team, including tasks assignments, monitoring completion and supervise daily accounting activities of the team ensuring compliance with standards and policies. Our Accounting Supervisor will also oversee the month-end and year-end closing activities and reconciliations of accounts.
As a vital team member of our team, our
Accounting Supervisor will (and not limited to):
- Prepare and support internal and external audits as well as maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders in ensuring timely responses to inquiries, providing necessary documentation and explanation.
- Continually seek and implement improvements that improve productivity, documentation and reduce overall costs and identify/resolve findings in coordination with the accounting manager.
- Coordinate and support management on employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, work assignments, salary and recognition/disciplinary actions.
- Cross-functional collaborate with Singapore Financial Service Center, HQ FP&A, Human Resources, Treasury and other functions within the organisation.
- Manage, lead and mentor team members to achieve their potential, effectively maximizing their contribution to the achievement of goals.
