Job summary

VWR Singapore PTE. LTD. is seeking a Finance/Accounts position to assist in maintaining accurate financial records, perform reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end closings.

The role covers financial reporting, treasury, and compliance activities. You will prepare schedules, monitor cash balances, and assist with audits while coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• 1–3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking.
• Prepare monthly management reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
• Monitor daily cash positions and bank balances.
• Maintain records of fixed assets and capital expenditure.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and requested documents.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and filing systems.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on finance-related matters.
• Assist in maintaining vendor and customer master data.
• Support ad-hoc projects and finance process improvement initiatives.
