We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant Officer to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely invoicing, and supporting inventory and stock-taking activities. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and capable of handling accounting operations in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and issue sales invoices accurately and promptly
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting
  • Perform regular stock-taking activities and reconcile inventory records
  • Maintain up-to-date financial records and filing systems
  • Support internal audits and compliance with accounting standards
  • Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams for inventory tracking and billing accuracy
  • Handle data entry, petty cash, and basic bookkeeping
  • Ensure proper documentation of all accounting transactions
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Finance Manager
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. SQL, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar)
  • Knowledge of inventory control processes is an advantage
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
