Job summary

TAISHIN INTERNATIONAL BANK CO., LTD. Singapore Branch is seeking a 3-month contract junior accounting/reports role. Fresh graduates are welcome. You will prepare MAS regulatory reports, liaise with tax agents for IRAS filings, and support routine head office reports and audits.

You will update policies, assist with month-end close, and participate in system implementations and regulatory projects while supporting the department on various financial controls and management reporting tasks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Business or ACCA equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience in accounting, finance or regulatory reporting is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with software/applications such as AgileReporter.
• Experience with large data and inter-system complexities.
• Good understanding of accounting policy and internal controls.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills and an excellent team player.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to add value to improve work process.
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare MAS daily regulatory compliance reports and other regulatory reports (MAS 610, MAS 649).
• Liaise with external tax agent and prepare the branch’s filing for IRAS corporate tax reporting.
• Prepare routine head office reports including submissions to Taiwan regulatory authorities.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and prepare audit schedules and financial statements disclosure items.
• Update accounting policies and procedure manuals.
• Support journal input, system operations and month-end closing processes.
• Participate in system implementation and regulatory-related projects.
• Support head of department on financial control, financial reporting, tax, regulatory and management reporting matters.
• Attend to ad-hoc requests from management or regulators.

• To liaise with external tax agent and prepare the branch’s filing for IRAS corporate tax reporting
• To prepare routine head office reports, including reports for submission to Taiwan regulatory authorities
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and to prepare audit schedules as well as financial statements disclosure items

• Support other accounting operations such as journal input, system operations and month-end closing process
• Participate in system implementation and regulatory related projects.
