We are a rapidly growing company seeking an Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The role involves managing financial operations, liaising with management and internal staff, and supporting accounting and finance functions. Key Responsibilities:
Controlling
- Oversee financial controlling & reporting for multiple legal entities, supported by the financial controller and local accounting teams.
- Manage and monitor financial KPIs such as Revenue, EBITA, Cashflow, Capex, Debt Service Coverage Ratio, and Net Leverage.
- Develop and strengthen business processes for sound financial management and resource allocation.
- Provide financial performance insights and analyses.
- Manage the internal control plan and ensure timely statutory audits.
Accounting
- Ensure timely closing of accounts and accurate financial reporting for all subsidiaries.
- Review account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
- Oversee billing and collection activities within AR.
- Maintain control over financial transactions and company liquidity.
- Supervise group consolidation and intercompany reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with FRS, oversee audits, and review financial statements.
- Review corporate tax, GST, and withholding tax filings.
- Manage loan covenant reporting and liaise with auditors, secretaries, bankers, and tax agents.
- Implement and review financial policies and lead transversal accounting projects.
- Establish monthly closing processes and ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements related to shareholder funding.
- Report financial results and highlights to management promptly.
Others
- Ensure audits are completed with minimal findings and in a timely manner.
- Assess current finance management and identify areas for improvement and budgeting.
- Lead and develop the accounting team, managing priorities and tasks.
- Oversee team training and development.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accountancy with CA/CPA/ACCA qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting.
- Intercompany accounting experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, decisiveness, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel and willingness to learn other IT tools.
- Ability to understand and manage business relationships.
