About the Role:
We are a well-established A1 General Building Contractor seeking a meticulous and experienced Accounting Manager to manage the full spectrum of accounting functions across multiple entities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can handle multiple responsibilities efficiently, ensure compliance, and contribute positively to the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings
  • Handle full set of accounts for several companies
  • Prepare budgets and financial forecasts
  • Coordinate and assist with external audits and ensure audit schedules are up to date
  • Assist with preparing annual financial statements and tax computations
  • Manage GST submissions, and ensure compliance with all Singapore tax and statutory requirements
  • Prepare payments
  • Oversee the preparation of payment vouchers, billing, debit/credit notes
  • Process employee expense claims
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasts; manage cash flow needs
  • Liaise with auditors, bankers, company secretary, internal stakeholders, and government agencies
  • Perform other ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Proficient in accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore GST, audit, and tax regulations
  • Independent, reliable, and capable of handling multiple priorities
  • A good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive mindset, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
